Case Study – Utopia

Utopia is a horse-riding school and equestrian centre in Dorset. The centre offers horse-riding lessons, stables and other equine facilities, all forming part of a site of approximately 10 acres of gardens and open fields.

The client approached MSP with a view to purchasing the property with adjoining business premises to expand their company. With insufficient time to obtain a mortgage from a high street bank, MSP were able to step in and assist.

The client was very happy with the service provided and continue to use our financial products to facilitate their growth.

Case Study – Lending on a Dorset Farm

An Investment client required finance for a commercial development opportunity. Despite having sufficient assets against which the loan could be secured, they were unable to obtain funding from high street banks in timescales required.

The borrower approached MSP Capital who were able to quickly provide the funds. They were happy with the outcome and continue to use MSP’s products and services.

Loan to Enable Business Re-structure

MSP Capital was approached by a client to provide a loan to facilitate the purchase of a share of a business from a departing director.

The loan for the company was secured by way of a legal charge against our client’s private residence, which was then in turn refinanced by a high street lender against the business once the re-structuring had taken place.

Loan to Enable Business Expansion

MSP Capital was approached by an established business which had an opportunity to purchase a warehouse directly next to its current operation before the premises was formally advertised for sale on the open market.

The vendors required a prompt exchange and completion to keep the premises ‘off market’ and MSP Capital provided the funds within two weeks of being approached to provide the business with the opportunity to purchase the unit and expand successfully.
