As MSP Capital celebrates its 45th year in business, 2026 has provided the perfect opportunity to reflect on our longstanding commitment to supporting property developers, investors and brokers across the UK. One of the highlights of this milestone year has been exhibiting as a platinum sponsor across four Property Developer Shows, with events in Bristol, London, Southampton and Birmingham.
Each exhibition brought together property professionals from across the country, providing valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, meet new contacts and discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping today’s property market. Throughout the series, our team welcomed developers, investors and brokers to the MSP Capital stand to explore funding solutions ranging from bridging loans to development finance, while sharing the relationship-led approach that has defined our business since 1981.
Alongside exhibiting, the shows provided an opportunity to share practical industry expertise through a series of educational presentations.
Our Credit Director, Lee Merrifield, delivered sessions exploring the key considerations of a credit committee, offering insight into what can strengthen a funding application and why lender experience matters.
Our Legal Director, Dan Curtis, shared practical guidance on achieving success at property auctions, covering the legal checks every bidder should make and the importance of securing finance before auction day.
Commercial Director Adam Tovey also took to the stage to discuss the current property funding landscape, sharing his perspective on market conditions, lender decision making and the factors shaping finance opportunities for developers. Each presentation was well attended and sparked valuable conversations with attendees throughout the shows.
While each location offered its own unique audience, one theme remained consistent: property is a relationship-driven industry, and there is no substitute for meeting people face to face. The conversations we had throughout the series gave us an even greater understanding of the ambitions of today’s developers while reinforcing the importance of providing experience, certainty and flexibility in every funding decision.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, attended one of our presentations or took the time to speak with the team in Bristol, London, Southampton and Birmingham. As we continue celebrating our 45th anniversary, we look forward to building on these conversations and supporting property professionals with their ambitions for many years to come.
