A local project that was years in the making

At the end of 2021 we began working with a developer to fund a project in Broadstone, a village local to the MSP Offices.

The project will see the demolition of an existing detached house to build seven self-contained, modern apartments.

The detached house on the site had already been owned by our client for many years, so they were able to wait until the opportune moment to begin this development project.

When the time was right, we were able to fund the project

At MSP Capital we believe in relationship-led lending and like to keep in contact with our current, past and prospective clients. Seeing the potential in both this property and the client, our Business Relationship manager, Chris Sheppard, kept in contact with them while the project was refined.

Due to the ongoing contact Chris had, when the client felt the time was right to begin, we were able to move forward with funding this project.

We have provided a £1.45m Ground-Up Residential Development Facility which has fully redeemed the existing lender and will provide all funds required to complete the development works over a term of 18months.

We look forward to working with both the Developer and the main contractor, Howarth Construction Contracts Ltd as the project unfolds.
