Striving to make anything possible
At MSP we’re passionate about our local community. One aspect of this which brings thousands of people together every month, is of course our local football team, AFC Bournemouth.
AFC Bournemouth has been on an exciting and inspiring journey over the past 10 years, from the depths of League Two to the Premier League – the club’s rise has been one of the most remarkable stories in English football’s recent history.
Partnering with them and becoming their official shirt sponsor in 2020 was a memorable milestone for us at Team MSP.
With childhood ‘Cherries’ fans in the company, we could never have imagined we would be able to support our local team and contribute towards the next chapter in their unique story as they strive to regain promotion from the Championship.

So much more than a shirt
We’ve created a partnership with AFC Bournemouth which opens up opportunities for us to create smiles in the community and further afield, to share the goodwill that every company should do to boost the community that they’re in. We have started to do this in a number of ways. During lockdown we sought to refresh the AFC Bournemouth fans’ days with fun competitions online.
From asking fans to video themselves recreating goals to Man of the Match predictions, signed shirts and prizes were soon winging their way through the letterboxes of the winners.
On a wider community level, we’re working hard behind the scenes to bring about our vision of making spaces for activities more accessible for people of Poole and Bournemouth.

Our vision at MSP has always been to celebrate and support our local community
We live and work within a thriving, busy community. We all saw how important access to activities, clubs, and general outdoors life became to the people of Poole and Bournemouth during the pandemic. Yet, getting outside and being active after a week of sitting at a desk has always been absolutely integral to everyone at MSP.
Chat to any of our team about their hobbies and passions outside of their family life and it’s hiking, kitesurfing, team sports, running … Each sport enables us to unwind and recharge at the same time. And we know that that is felt across our community from the vast amount of people we see out and about engaging in the many social groups for their chosen discipline.
However, the pandemic really highlighted the power of being outdoors and exercising to boost everyone’s mental health as well as their general fitness. From walking with a camera to enjoying a coffee with friends outside, just being out of the same four walls relieves unwanted stress, gets your endorphins going and your positivity rising. It’s essential.
It was heartwarming to find out that AFC Bournemouth feels exactly the same as we do on these important topics.
